The Social Democratic Party of America was a short-lived party, established in 1898 and dissolved in 1901. The reason for failure was that the american working class was not yet ready for it at that time. Now america is ready for it; there is movement created by Bernie. The time is ripe for it. I like to join and sign for it.

Bernie wants to invest in infrastructure, and that makes good sense. The road network arguably has the highest value and ROI of all the public works. It is also stressed beyond capacity in every major metro area.

There are intelligent ways to invest in transportation infrastructure and not so smart ways. Bernie has stated that he supports High Speed Rail, and many people are motivated by the example of extensive HSR networks in Europe, China, and Japan. Population centers in the US are much more widely separated with much more of their populations disbursed into suburbs. A national high speed rail network makes no sense here, and there's really only one corridor, DC - NYC, where the length and the trip demand are a good fit for HSR.

There are however excellent opportunities to develop the road and rail network. The initial stages won't even require very much public investment as we can use smartphones to encourage people to share rides and decrease the vehicle count. Governments merely need to encourage this by deploying High Occupancy and Toll lanes on all of the congested arterials, surface streets as well as highways, and with smart timing for traffic lights to create green waves for high occupancy and other vehicles by paying tolls set dynamically at the point that fills any unused capacity.

Once HOT priority lanes with green wave signaling are in place, the gov't could begin investment in a new kind of high performance bus-train. By providing non-stop service and on-board transfers, these would be able to approach and often exceed the trip time performance of driving personal cars. I agree. Bernie Sanders needs to run against Hilary if he doesn't get the nomination. If it is true, as he says, that the elections are rigged and that Hillary is bought by the corporations then it doesn't make any sense for Bernie to support her. He needs to run against her, and if he does so he will probably beat her. Bernie's supporters need to shout the message loud and clear so that Bernie knows that they will not be at all happy with him if he decides to support Hillary Clinton. They need to let him know that they will back him all the way if he decides to run as an independent. If Bernie Sanders really wants a revolution then he needs to fight all the way and not accept defeat. What kind of revolution is it when you give your support to someone who has been bought out by the corporations. That seems like business as normal to me. Bernie's supporters need to INSIST that Bernie fight to the end and never give up.

Hillary is just a republican as far as I am concerned. At least republicans are honest about it. How ridiculous is that when Hillary says " I will reveal my speeches to Goldman Sachs if republicans reveal it too" Ha!

It still does not change the fact that Hillary has had lunches at least in 20 locations just in the Bay area alone in the last several months, all at homes of millionaires and billionairs of corporations and drug companies raising tens of millions. Bill, Chelsea and She has had thousands of such lunches at the homes of the wealthy throughout the country. She uses this money and the "dark money" gotten from other governments for her compaign and does not even disclose it to the democratic party.
